On April 10th and 11th, 2024, Rome hosted the Community4Tourism kick-off meeting, a pivotal event in advancing sustainable tourism objectives.
During the kick-off meeting NaTour4CChange, as another thematic project of the Interreg Euro-MED Programme Cluster, was presented by project coordinator Izidora Marković Vukadin (PhD, Institute for Tourism) as part of the community. The presentation highlighted the project’s role in advancing sustainable tourism practices within the Community4Tourism framework.
Project Partners from Plan Bleu, Conference of Peripheral Maritime Regions (CPMR), and the Junta de Andalucía actively participated in this collaborative effort towards promoting sustainable tourism practices in the Mediterranean Region and beyond.
The Institute for Tourism Zagreb is the leading partner of the project, while the project involves a total of 10 partners from 6 Mediterranean countries (IUCN (Spain), Plan Bleu (France), Conference of Peripheral Maritime Regions (CPMR, France), HSPN – Hellenic Society for the Protection of Nature (Greece), Regional Ministry of Tourism of Andalusia (Spain), Regione Autonoma della Sardegna (Italy), Natura Jadera (Croatia), Region of Crete (Greece), Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management HNŽ (Bosnia and Herzegovina). In addition to the above, 18 other partners from 9 countries are involved in the project.
