The Mediterranean, a biodiversity and climate hotspot, is warming 20% faster than the global average, putting increasing pressure on ecosystems, economies, and tourism. Enhancing resilience in destinations requires ecosystem-based approaches, improved governance, and Nature-based Solutions (NbS) to address climate impacts. Furthermore, by reinforcing regenerative tourism, the sector can drive meaningful progress across the SDGs, supporting environmental protection, economic resilience, and community well-being. Join us at the NaTour4CChange online side event at the Regional Forum for Sustainable Development 2025 to share experiences and tools for the enhancement of sustainable tourism in the Mediterranean. The session is organised as part of the 2025 Regional Forum on Sustainable Development, which is dedicated to advancing sustainable, inclusive, science- and evidence-based solutions for the 2030 Agenda, aiming to discuss strategies for accelerating progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
